Referat: Örebro Black Knights - Arlanda Jets

Game was played in great conditions, nice weather and great field at Behrn arena.

Game had its share on mistakes, by both sides, but also really hard fought tough football.
Both teams played tough defense. Nothing was given easy.

Örebrö had few great opportunities on Jets redzone. Once they got to redzone with nice long pass on blown coverage, but game MVP Jenny Gramenius made great effort play and chase received down, and made TD saving tackle. Defense stepped up and stopped Black Knights before end zone. Defense made also great goalline stance inside 5 yard line and kept end zone clean.

ÖBK offense was little sharper than Jets counterparts but both defenses played tough.
It was very appropriate that defense scored the games only touchdown. After a great punt by Jenny Sagbrant, that ended up to ÖBK 6 yard line, a great play by DB Ida Olofsson, where she defended the pass, that ended up bouncing to the hands of Jenny Gramenius, who then returned it about 10 yards to the endzone.

As we lost the first game with 8 points, we counted that we need to go for 2 to even up the chances to home playoff game. 2 point convertion pass went to Jenny Sagbrant, who made a sure catch in the endzone.

After win we are even in goal difference with ÖBK (28-28). So if we end up to same points in the end of regular season, the total goal difference will make the difference with 2 teams. A way to make season exciting :)

now, whe have, again, a bye week. Chance to work 2 weeks hard for Spartans (home 1st june), and get more people healthy.
